Model 1000 Redtail II Zero Emission Dry Seal Gauge Head

Features

The Redtail II builds off of 30+ years of product excellence and includes new features, including higher pressure operations up to 1 bar [14.5 psi], external mounting lugs for additional support bracketing, and improved field serviceability.

Compartmentalized

• The Redtail II seperates the tank-exposed components from the atmospheric components ensuring emission-free operation.
• An integral sloped channel allows condensation to drain freely into the tank.
• Compartments are connected by the bearing-supported axle, and sealed by the unique Dual Dry Seal. Stainless Steel bearings optionally available.

Dual Dry Seal

• The Dual dynamic FKM (Viton) axle seals prevent emission from the tank escaping from the gauge head. PTFE (Teflon) optionally available.
• Dry-Seal technology requires no addition of grease or other sealing agents for long-term reliable operation.

Large Diameter, Indexed Cable Reels

• Large diameter reels provide low operating friction.
• Reels are connected mechanically via a keyed common axle to provide acurate cable motion with none of the slip associated with pulley systems.

Mounting/Support Lug

• An integrated mounting/support lug cast directly into the body of the Redtail addresses customer feedback by providing a solution to mitigate the cantilever moment applied to the 2” nozzle during use.

Cast Boss

• A reinforced boss is cast into the body at the 12 o’clock position, providing additional wall thickness to allow drilling and tapping for a ¼” NPT port.
